guess wat i'm doing now?

it's 1 am in the morning... and i'm like watching USA play against Czech Republic. the score's 0-2 now... and i think USA is prob gonna get thrashed... anyway.... i'm pretty amazed at myself for actually tuning in to this channel... =p

the soccer fever is soo taking the world by storm.. and i'm still amazed at how the world can get so affected by 22 ppl chasing after a ball. most of the ppl i know are actually fitting their schedule ard world cup and not the other way round. wat's the attraction?? i dun see it... but as i was telling a friend, soccer juz has this power to draw u into its world... to make u feel part of a bigger picture... and suddenly, u see urself as part of the team u are supporting. If they win, u feel as though u've won...part of the glory's urs too... and if they lose, u are prob gonna feel lousy and cry with them. it's this identity tt draws ppl together... strangers can become fast friends, bonded by the same team they're supporting, or become instant enemies, fuelled by the competitive nature of the teams they're supporting as well.

as for me, i'm juz content to watch some matches... to keep up with the news.. and try to be impressed by the seemingly gd skills of the players...=p

guess it's back to the game... another 20 min or so left... and wondering if i shld catch the 3 am one... italy against dunno who.
