A special tribute to the 2 guys
for all the fun and laughter experienced,
for simply being part of the beautiful memories that remain

Unveiling the other side of the godly and gentlemanly image that most ppl(including myself!) perceive of my travel companions:

Top 3 Incidents:

Number 1 --- The story of the kind Samaritan
--> See this man? Poor me was then suffering from a sprained ankle and we had to walk up this muddy slope as the car that we were in could not drive up the ditch with our weight combined. The ground was soft and muddy and i was hobbling with my walking stick in an attempt to walk up the slope... my two guy friends? they had happily walked up first.. without me and waited for me at the top. The man in the picture was sending his 2 sons to school and were walking up the same slope.. when he saw me, he immdiately RAN to me and offered his hand... AND gently led me up the slope and only let go when i had safely reached my guy friends.
simply touched to the core.....

Ask me again what i thought of the guys then. =p

Number 2 --- The bed incident

i regret there were no pictures.. *0*

on the last night, we had decided to pay more for to stay in a 5-star hotel instead of the normal average rooms that we had the past 13 nights. It was a wonderful room, and came equipped with strong and reliable air-con, a strong shower and a BIG television. Beautiful and artistic interior design.. with pretty pictures decorating the wall of the room. Being a souble sharing room, there were only 2 single beds, and the last bed was those set-it-yourself kinda beds with a not-so good spring. As you might have guessed... the 2 of them stubbornly and doggedly REFUSED to offer me the good bed.. right till the point of bedtime!!!!!

i took the lousy bed. hmmph. just imagine the initial indignation that I had felt. to give them some credit, they did offer later la... and of cos i refused. =D

Number 3 --- Their gay side!!!
As like all long holidays.. love blossomed when 2 ppl face each other day in, day out... =D
and nope, it's not me.

*****TO TRULY SCANDALOUS*****

**** Psss... as i had agreed, i did not put up the picture showing kuan in his boxers and you massaging his upper thigh..... hahaa

of cos.. i shall not mention the smaller events... such as.. when i was bitten by a leech, the first thing the guys cared abt was to get a good shot of the leech.. and simply took me as transparent.. despite my poor bleeding leg.. =p

To give the guys some credit.. they did redeem themselves in more ways than one...

A snapshot of the many daily massages that they gave my wounded sprained ankle. (i was literally squeezing the pillow and doubling over in sheer pain)

Thanks to my carelessness, i fell and sprained my ankle while walking in the jungle at Chitwan Park... and sprained it TWICE in a day. and this happened before the trek!! it was indeed the kind works of the 2 guys (and of cos God's grace =D ) that I had managed to successfully scale Poonhill. Cheerios. Withstanding pain had never been my forte.. anyone close to me know tt i can't take pain for nuts and that i'ld rather pop a painkiller than try to withstand the pain. In this case, i had no choice.. their persistent massages that left me screaming and crying actually helped eased the pain. (the other thing that i was very impressed by was their willingness to help me rub the cream into my ankle. since young, i had hated tt smell of the cream and am unwilling to rub it for my own sis/bro.. and here..i have two macho guys doing it for me. *grins*)
yepps... and who can forget the massage sessions that we gave each other when we were high in the mountains? the aching hands/legs/back.. the guys sure know their stuffs. and they were rather good in it! superly blessed. =)

and for the care and concern when i was down with flu.. for forcing all those Vit C pills on me.

plus the fun whilst washing laundry...how often do u see weihao as Mr Domesticated?
**not tt i miss the underwear. i'ld gladly forget tt part!!
and the detergent was brought by YK!

To also make special mention of the awfully sweet stuff that Kuan did...

Whilst trekking on the last day, we met this group of adorable children while we were taking shelter from the rain. Spontaneously, Kuan applied antiseptic on the little boy's face.. and gave them the whole tube for their use! what a SNAG. =)

did i not mention that Kuan's also a neat freak?
(evidence of Kuan's high C streak.. )
from left to right: Kuan's bed, weihao's bed, my bed.

notice how kuan rolls his shirts and mine are simply scattered on the bed. woah!!

and last but not least... here goes 15 days of sweet and memorable snippets..
without u guys.. it wouldn't have been the same.
cheers. =)

Quote of the week:
Challenges often make us realize that we are stronger than we think. -chelle thompson

I am who You say I am

A happy me is when I am surrounded by my family and close friends, doing things that i love!
trying to always be happy and cheerful...
despite the circumstances though at times i can be sad like mad.
currently trying to get to know myself better.
Oone thing for sure that i know, i love shopping and it's proven to be therapeutic!
loves challenges.. they make me think.
love a good bicker here and there. they make me think too!
also love the sun loads! anything outdoor works for me... though i still prefer blading to cycling or running.

MY NEVER ENDING WANTS

New Clothes! Jackets, tops, jeans
BAGS
